OSX software to measure electical signals Answered

Hello

I was hoping somebody could point me in the direction of what software i could use on my Mac OSX 10.7 to measure the electrical current from various sensors etc.  I do not mean a multi-meter as i am looking to log data on incoming voltages from various things i am making.

I do not come from an electrical engineer or computer engineer background, therefore i do not know the correct term or name of the programs. They usually look like frequency graphs on the computer screen where the graphs/waveforms move as the voltage fluctuates and they allow you to monitor and record the electrical data for example when you touch a capacitor or move a potentiometer. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you very much.

You're looking for oscilloscope software, but I do not know which to recommend.
