Pixlr Photo Editor Not Working - is it only me?
This post is not about the Pixlr editor that was removed from the site.
I use Pixlr express several times a week, and now it doesn't open up on any computer that I try.
Is there a chance that you could try to access pixlr express and let me know if it works on your computer? I've tried a few so far on all browsers, updated flash, restarted, etc.
https://pixlr.com/express/ I just get a gray screen :(
Thank you!

For me it does not work too, when I click on a photo action pixlr editor, it remains blocked on download in progress and 0%.

Mine stopped working last night as well. Even though Autodesk is supposed to be a localized app for my PC, I noticed several weeks ago that some of the templates were no longer available. Obviously server based, which brings me to the possible conclusion that the PC/Mac desktop app is also server based and possibly discontinued. That sucks. I hate these web apps.

I was planning to use it for several hours today to design a Youtube thumbnail. Right now the site works for me, I was able to load an image. I hope it doesn't fix in the middle of an edit...

Very true, but I tell ya, desktop apps > browser apps any day. Much more reliable, as I see once again the entire Pixlr website is offline again tonight. *sigh*

Autodesk stopped working for myself this evening as well. Won't open, Did some testing with an older version installer (1.0.3.0) and last version ( 1.1.1.0 ) Installs without issue. Connecting to the program offline allows access to the program. In the older version I am able to download and use the basic filters. In the last version I cannot access any without being prompted to log in. Upon exiting the program each, they both will refuse to reopen, and will crash upon startup.
Opening the program offline after fresh install, it can be opened up multiple times with no issues, but the majority of filters remain unusable ( Still, some are usable! )
Attempted to firewall the Pixlr.exe program in programs(x86) from connecting automatically online but this does not stop it from connecting. Could be another security program inside that connects or something.
------------------------------------------
Apologies for the mouthful, just sharing my thoughts here to possibly save anyone some time and frustration. Wish I was more tech savy to figure what is directing the program to self destruct.

I used it for hours yesterday, it worked fine. I even clicked on 3 sidebar ads while editing, they definitely made their money's worth!

I believe Sevon was referring to Pixlr Autodesk, the PC/Mac app that appears to be pushed to the dump by the new owners in favor of the browser based stuff only (which I find inferior). Several weeks ago, a number of overlays were shown as uninstalled and needed my login. Of course login is disabled. Now it appears the entire platform has been disabled server side so it can no longer be used. Goodbye Pixlr. You were great when you started.

Pixlr has not been an Autodesk product since April 2017, so any old stand-alone app with Autodesk branding is likely now unsupported.

123RF talks free but the yearly cost of $300 to $2200 will be sucked from your pocket http://pixlr.com/blog/123rf-acquires-autodesk-pixl...

It has been fixed, but I'm still planning on starting to use Photoshop since a relative of mine agreed to get it for me in exchange for a few things that I design...
Hmmm...

I didn't know this till now, but it appears Autodesk sold Pixlr back in April:

So that might explain the lack of reply ;)
