I don't like the way the survey is written, e.g. question 1 doesn't include "work" or "it's part of my job", but has both escapism and pleasure as answers.
Q2 uses "guesstimate" but divides up the answers to the nearest percentage. Q3 - if it's a RULE what other options would people have? Q2 to 5 would work better as "On a scale of 1-5 how much- ?" questions.
I understand that Q10 has a function, but I don't think it will help you to extract meaningful information, it may confuse* things.

*It is confusing.

Sorry, if it's confusing. It's actually designed to be un-survey-like, if there's such a thing.
Q1 - I guess work would classify as personal (eg: profession-related blog, etc.).
Q2 - maybe nearest figure since those divisions prolly meant something to the question formulator
Q3 - Rules are always broken by people, and if it's on the Net, quite hard to enforce, so just as good as no rules, maybe.
There's prolly a reason why a scale is never used. Butt the "no comment" opts are there for where an answer is not forced.

Thanks, tho

I just "spent an hour" re-writing this, see what you think (un-spell-checked).
Some of your questions need breaking up, like 7 where you've got anonymity, honesty & incentives and quality of experience in one. Writing this stuff is hard...

Sounds good and I like the organization. You're right about having to break down #7. I'll forward it to the orig. questioner. Thanks!

If you can structure Q&A so they're YES, NO or YES/NO you can score a weight of YES : NO and get a statistical result. It's Boolean TRUE & FALSE.

You write extreme answers (5 & 1) so that the two sides of the fence / coin are clearly marked, but expect most answers to be compromised positions (4 & 2). Bang in the middle (3) i.e. "sitting on the fence" doesn't count or you call it a result for indifference.

I guess the "no comment" will apply, otherwise, where it's not an option one would be forced to choose a nearest answer.

Thanks, tho.
