Posting comments with mozilla firefox Answered

The past two weeks ive been using firefox. Until i found out that its not instructables friendly. It wont let me post comments because when i type and go to post the comment even though i log in quite literally 4 seconds before i go to post it say server has timed out or something like that. And then when i go to log in not through a comment just through the upper tool bar it wont even let me log in.

Bearing in mind that the site is explicitly designed to be FF friendly, are you sure you are using the latest version?

You might want to try updating flash and Java.  They have been updated a bunch recently.

I had the same problem this morning (first time FF install), and I cleared the cache & unchecked the "Keep me logged in" box, which seems to have fixed the problem.

I have been using fire fox for over a year, never had any problems with it.

Umm...the Staff specifically write a lot of the scripting and CSS stuff to be specific to Firefox.  Most other browsers have some problem or another because of that.  If you're getting server timeouts, that's more likely to be due to your ISP.

Weird.. I use firefox all the time and I don't have that problem.

Are you sure you are using the latest version? Or that there isn't anything wrong with your internetconnection?
