Pro Forum Topic Visibility
I think it would be nice to have some form of deliniation between the "normal" forum posts and the "pro" formal posts when browsing the forum. i tend to look through the forum in the "view all" mode sorted by date. this results in seeing a bunch of interestingly named forum topics (like all the aspie ones) however i go to click on it and blamo "why not become a pro member". i don't have anything against going pro (except for fund shortages), but it would be nice to not be taunted with the pro topics that i can't view

I posted a topic just like this. I agree, it's annoying.

One of these topics is Pro. One isn't. Can you tell which is which?

yes i can, because those are accurately marked
can you tell which two out of these three will tell me to upgrade when i open them?
try not to be condescending when you're incorrect

If you look at "view all", you should also see that each forum topic has a line "posted by XXXX in YYYYY".

that's true....but it doesn't specify if it's a pro only topic
such as the "Meeting room one (new members)" which is currently listed as number 3 in the view all list....when i click on that i get taken to "You must be a Pro user to view that page. Upgrade now!" ...
if i go to the community landing page...i can see that in the pro section, Dr What was the last person to reply to a topic, if i hover over the "last post" link, sure enough the URL matches the "meeting room one" topic URL

You know what the real answer is, don't you?
About $2 a month...

and i'll gladly take the $24 now in my paypal account (when you live paycheck to paycheck $24 makes a difference)...it's a simple forum mask (not that i know how this forum was written...but it should be pretty easy to implement) what is the benefit of me being able to see the title of something that i don't have permissions to view?

Presumably, it's intended as an incentive to turn pro?

maybe....if the topic title was "click on the link in this post and get $10,000"...i can't particularly justify money to look at an aspergers thread
it's not a massive issue (not going to make me leave the site)...but it's an organizational deal...i don't like cluttery things, and stuff that i can't access = clutter

:D
I can verify this. At least two threads without the "PRO" label just link to the "Upgrade Now" page.
Move this thread to "Bugs" section?

It's not in the Pro forum. I think this is a bug. At least, I hope the random locking out of non-pro users from non-pro topics is a bug.
