Problem with indent in new editor Answered

There seems to be an issue with indent in the new editor.

I am using Google Chrome Version 34.0.1847.116 m on win 8.1

See attached screenshots  from https://www.instructables.com/id/Vegetable-gardens-from-old-water-tank/ with an image from within the editor with indents and second image with saved version.

I add an indent when editing but on save the indent vanishes in the editor and it is lost on the saved version.

This is a consistent behavior, I have tried numerous times.

I can't recreate this in the new editor. Do you have any browser add-ons? Do you have the latest version of your browser? Have you tried clearing your cache and refreshing the page?

Also, what happens when you hit enter before the indent and create more white-space around where you are trying to indent?

I had this problem using Internet explorer the other day. I also could not cut and paste then I could and now I can't. I have a white box at the top of my new instructable because you inspired me to make a mini clip and I posted it and it went bonkers but does not show the clip only the white box at the top of my edit page and I can't delete it. I can't include links in my instructable for credit in the body of the instructable OR in the comment section. Here is the link if you wish to take a peek. Weird things happening lately! But You all are on your toes and figure it out so no worry here! Thanks for all you do! Link will not post here either so if you go to my draft page it is the top one on the list ( cookies) Thanks in advance.

I'd try another browser other than Internet Explorer. I've experienced some "compatibility mode" issues with IE.

Yeah I know, the truth is I have used google chrome for a long time with no problems and I was using it when I left here to visit my daughter, when I got home I had IE and could not upload pictures to instructables. Hubby says he did not change anything. I have learned not to make changes or download to my pc if I do not know for sure. I am taking my pc to the computer guy soon and will have him set it for chrome. I do not like IE that is why I changed to chrome in the first place. Thanks Mike!

I have now tried it in both Firefox and Chrome with the same result.

In Firefox I have zero addons - gosh... that is so unlike me :o) But it isn't my default browser. Chrome has a number of addons, but the fact that it doesn't work in FF makes that irrelevant.

I then tried your suggestion and backspaced at the beginning of the line so it was concatenated at the end of the previous line and then hit enter so it has a new line. Same result. I even tried with an extra line above and below.

Sorry :P

Had a thought...

I have now tried it on a completely different computer - a netbook running Ubuntu using Firefox with the same result.

Had another thought...maybe it is because those lines are italicised. But tried it on a plain text line and lost the indent as well.
