Problems posting comment / need anti-duplicate-posts Answered

I was trying to post a comment and it wasn't doing anything when I pressed "Make Comment". Even after I refreshed the page like 10-20 times.

I always copy (cmd+a and cmd+c) my comments before I hit the post button. For other websites, sometimes I run into an error for the first submit. But on Instructables, I reloaded the page so many times and pasted my comment and hit the button but nothing. Finally I just decided to hit the Make Comment button like it was an arcade fighter game. Then suddenly there were like 15 duplicates of my comment. I had to slowly delete one by one, each delete press had required a page reload so it was slow. I posted to: https://www.instructables.com/id/Repairing-a-Wrecked-Motorized-Bicycle/

You guys need a better client side submit function and a server side anti-duplicate message post.

If you are running PHP I can probably come up with something about the anti-duplicate post. But for a better javascript submitter, well I gotta open my can of worm brains without a can opener to plan and implement a good function.

The staff are aware of this issue, but a temporary workaround I have found is to click outside the comment box, then click the Make Comment button.
