Push Button Audio? Answered

Hello, I am building a beer pong table and would like to have a button that when hit would cause my school's fight song to play. I am confident i can do the wiring and all i just have no idea where to begin. What i am perplexed by is how to get my fight song on some sort of chip. Any ideas of what type of chip i am looking for? I really appreciate any help on this.

You are looking for the chip found in those new recordable cards from Hallmark you can put a message on. Also the chip found in common digital "audio reminder" recorders found for a few bucks at Wal-Mart and dollar stores. For the second you can substitute your own play button where the current one hooks up, place the little speaker in your construct (extend wires as needed), decide to use batteries or your own power supply, and figure out where to put the circuit board in your construct. Then you record the song while having it playing near the unit's microphone. If the volume's inadequate see if running the output to the little speaker thru an amplifier works and sounds good. If so and you really want volume, amplified PC speakers are cheap enough, hook the mono output to the little speaker to both input channels of the stereo amplified speakers. They also have small battery-powered amplified speakers for iPods etc if you want to keep it all-battery.

Probably a radio shack recording module thing, it should do the things that you want done..
