RGB LED's
Hi, sorry if this is annoying, but I really need these. I have a school project where I'm using RGB LED's (I'm also going to publish on instructables the steps), but when I ordered from SparkFun, I forgot 8 of them. Is there anyone that has 8 RGB LEDs that would mail them to me in a standard letter envelope soon so I can get them in time. Otherwise, I wouldn't get them until next next Monday. I can pay you with PayPal, and I'm getting a ton of AVR 20- and 8-pin microcontrollers, so I'll gladly send you some, I'll even pre-program them if you can't! (The 20-pin one is used in that new Make kit!) I'm really thankful :D

Does anyone have even 6 of them, or 2 colored ones?

Sorry but I only have two, (the green doesnât work correctly on one and they are both soldered in place) if you don't get them in time you might want to consider just jamming single coloured LEDs in their place, and failing that try putting in the single pin clips so that you can slot them in easily when you do acquire them. If your really desperate tour around shops looking for RGB LED things to rip apart and liberate bits of. Best of luck in your search, Andy

Thanks, but neither method for salvage will work. Its very sculpture-esque (did I say it was an art project?), and the tri-color is very important :-( I may have to see if Radio Crap has them for $4 a piece. :(

Darn that's bad, I suppose you could try Ebay and collect it in person, but it would be pure luck if you could find a seller near enough to you, I suppose it's probably worth a try, Andy
