Mr. Wizard, Don Herbert, died of bone cancer in LA at age 89.

Havent heard of him before, im from Bill and Ted era :)
but my condolences nonetheless..
anyhow..black and white tv? wow..its good to see a person of experience sharing his wisdom here. :)

. I'm afraid most of my "wisdom" comes from knowing a lot of things one ought not do (eg, releasing e-brake when car is on a jack, dropping a 4-speed transmission by one's self when one only weighs 110 pounds, replacing floor lamp socket without unplugging the lamp), not the things one should do.

Never heard of him, he sounds like a cool guy, I grew up with Bill Nie The Science Guy (sweet!!!)
