Rc Car baterie Help?
Hi i have a 7.2v rc car batery and my car ran out of power early a then usal.So I got my voltage metre and it said the car still had 7.2v does any one know why this might be thanks.

Thanks every one rick i made another one cause i typed it wrong on the origanal one.

This is because the nicad and nimh battery's will recharge them selves slightly without being plugged in to the charger. So within the 30 seconds or so it took you to get your multi meter the battery was charging it's self.

Well, not "recharge", exactly, but redistribute their charge. You actually don't want to let them do this too deeply; that can accelerate the aging of the battery.
