Hmmm...it may be a little hard to clone this with an arduino...Maybe an arduino nano would work...

I don't think you'd even need a full Arduino. A small AT mega with just a few pinouts for the accelerometers would be enough. You may even be able to get Arduino to run on an ATTiny, or something like that.

I think with some creativity, this could be a lot bigger. I saw Microsoft put in a patent for something similar to this a few months back. I expanded on it myself, and I think with a host computer and the proper wireless connections, you could turn lights on and off, manage the radio, television, so on and so forth.

I remember seeing something similar to this that lets you see movies and TV shows from Hulu, Netflix, etc. for free....I just can't remember the link :-(
