Registering to see all steps Answered

Maybe this has a topic already, if so, I apologise! I think it must be new, having to register to see all steps. I don't like it! Annoying for when I'm at school and don't want to log in and just generally inconvenient. I think it might put new people off using instructables because registering just to see how to do a project is quite a turn-off. I know the service is free and I feel bad only ever making a contribution to complain! Instructables is a great site and one of my most visited, I really do love it! Anyway, just my thoughts.

Small price to 'pay' for what we get here. Don't like logging in at school? Use a USB key with a portable copy of Firefox on it. Less concerns about leaving any username/passwords lying around if that was on your mind.

Even when I log in, I don't see 'all steps' anymore. Did my subscription run out? I haven't got any notification. Sure did like that feature.

I was thinking of bringing it up myself but....

Sometimes I do find it a slight inconvenience but I am registered I just don't always want to login everytime, but I guess I can live with it anyway, it'll just take getting use to it. ;-)

It's just a few extra seconds to login. They are trying to entice more visitors to register. The more registered users, the more credibility they will have, more revenue options. We all know that the money they make still doesn't quite cover the costs of keeping the site running. So if you ask me, it's just a minor inconvenience I can live with, if it could possibly help keep the site we've come to love afloat.
