Reuse old motor from cement mixer for building coils in the axial flux alternator for diy project 1kw wind turbine? TIA Answered

The coils in the alternator are meant to be 14 gauge enameled wire, does anyboedy know if the wire in other ac motors like the one in a cement mixer use this type of wire? Cheers!

14 gauge enameled wire should be 0.0641" in diameter.  the only way to figure out what you have is to measure it and compare it to either a chart of wire diameters or compare it to known wire sizes.

Your motor may have any of 10-20 different sizes in it and there is no way of knowing.
