Robotics-related outreach activities? Answered

Hey,

So I'm the outreach coordinator for the robot team in my college. I was wondering if anyone here knows of any activities that can be done with kids ranging from kindergarten up through high school.  The two that I like are:

'Robotic Hand':  Building a 'robotic' hand using normal household materials. (probably best suited for elementary or middle schoolers)
'Intelligent Paper': Basically a more CS-themed attempt to demystify AI (probably better for middle or high schoolers)

They don't necessarily need to be all-encompassing, any suggestions related to any part of robotics are welcome

One other that I just thought of a couple of days ago was a simple demonstration of an H-bridge motor driver circuit. Basically a voltage&current-controlled power supply, four switches, and one motor. Wire them up in the standard H-Bridge format and you can show kids/have them play around with the motor spinning in both directions, and show the effects of shoot-through.

I know that Lego Mindstorm has a whole educational range for different age groups. I dont know exactly which projects this includes but two examples are light seeking robots and path following robots. Might be something worth checking out
