Yeah, it's apparently the new business model: don't test anything, just throw whatever untested code you have on the live site and act real surprised when it breaks. And also don't fix it or (heavens forfend) let anybody know what's going on.

It's an ongoing bug, unfortunately. One might think that even a company which cares so little for its users would at least repair the one service that is its lifeblood, but one would be wrong.

Actually, the new editor *was* tested, by me amongst others (as you know, I can break most software).

We found a bunch of bugs, which were fixed, and when I couldn't break it any more, it was published.

The bugs we are seeing now all appeared after that. The team are working flat-out to fix them.

Yeah. Unfortunately while we test everything before we push it live to the site, it's hard to predict how everyone is going to be using it. It's also difficult to test every detail in every browser (which is unfortunate). Finally, the strain of 20 people on the system reacts very different then the strain of a million.

These are the reasons that things that work fine in test, can fumble a bit when they go live.

We're actively working to correct all of the problems, but it takes time to figure out what's actually causing them.
