Shutter speed on Canon Ixus? Answered

Hi guys,

l'd like to ask if it is possible to make the shutter speed faster (eg. 1/1500 or something)  on the Canon Ixus 125 HS camera. If so, I'd like instructions for it and images if possible

Thx in advance

sorry, I think I asked the question wrong... What I meant was is there a way to make the shutter speed faster? For example , 1/1000 or something?

thanks for the reply though

Not more than the maximum, but more light will increase it.

Google the user manual and have a look through it.

The Ixus 125 is also known as the Powershot ELPH 110 HS which has an entry on the CHDK site.

You'd have to check if faster shutter speeds are supported in its CHDK build.

http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/ELPH110HS

Its basically custom firmware that you load to the camera at startup to access a host of extra functions.
