You also have a collection. Collections can be featured as well, so it's really 6 out of 13.

Thank you!, but how could a collection be featured? it doesn't need to be your own work to add it to a collection, so you could get featured from other peoples ibles?

They're featured just like regular ibles. In my opinion, the best collections are those that compile projects that can't just be found with a simple search. For example, a collection of lamps, isn't super useful. However, an author that takes the time to find and compile examples of geeky fashion is both helpful and inspiring. I'd say that it is their work and deserving of a feature.

Hold on, does this mean if a collection with only featured ibles can be featured ?

And what about collaborations ?

Onrust and I did one but it was never clear about sharing the blame...

No, I'm pretty sure collections are judged on their own merit. I imagine a collection with a cool theme that hadn't been done before with both featured and un-featured ibles would have a good chance of being featured itself. However, the quality of the ibles will reflect on the collection. If it's full of awful stuff, then I doubt it would be considered feature-worthy.

That being said, I have never made a collection.

I have no idea how collaborations work. I've looked up some info on the forums in the past, but haven't really had the desire to use that feature. I think it goes to the primary creator.

Ahh! That explains a lot now, good to know.

I was wondering a few times when checking nice Instructables and the authors pages.

Thought it is thing of my cache or something but now it makes sense.

So that basically means if I have a good Instructable that is also included in a collection it can be double feature, nice way to encourage collections :)
