Solar page ad takeover. Answered

The "Solar" projects page is pretty much a Chevy Volt advertisement.  A video about the Volt is set to auto-play for every "page" of instructables... of which there are only 5 shown.  I understand that websites need ad money to survive, but when those ads dominate the page and hinder the user from accessing site content it borders on ridiculous.
When I click next page I'm greeted with the same giant, auto-play video ad and only 5 instructables.  I find this irritating.

Several other users, including some with paid memberships, have complained about the autoplay video. I would encourage you to send e-mail directly to <service {at} instructables.com>.

That feature may not be under I'bles control (the ad is owned by the sponsor, after all), but if it is, the more (constructive) feedback they get, the better.

It's a sponsored page.

Understood. I guess the point I was trying to make is that its a sponsored page that pushes me away from the content. I'll just search for solar projects to bypass this.

Be careful about that. The Google search engine I'bles uses has some "features" -- if your search term is a category or channel name, or one of the temporary "sponsored" categories, it will go directly to that page, rather than doing the generic list results.
