Sticky Dough? Answered

When making loaf bread, my dough is always very sticky when I turn it out on my floored surface to knead. I end up adding more and more flour to my hands and the counter as I knead so it won't stick. I know this changes the structure of the dough and, therefore, the bread. How is your dough so nice and 'together' when kneading? It doesn't seem to stick to anything! I use recipes that I find online which may be my problem?(Super bread novice here. Trying to get into it to stop buying sandwich bread at the store.)
