Stripping altoids tins
I've tried paint stripper, nail polish remover, I'm reduced to a scotch brite pad. Anyone know an easy way to get the paint off?

You can burn off the paint with a propane torch or gas barbaque, but the result isn't necessarily any better than you started with. Better to cover it with paint or stickers?

Hmmm, I hadn't thought of a decoupage altoids tin, but it's an idea.

Heat (propane flame) and a wire brush. Added benefit of annealing the metal for repose. Why do you want the paint off?

Meths? Caustic soda (lye)? (would have thought paint-stripper would work)

Try boiling it in white vinegar. You may want to do it outside though, unless you don't mind your house smelling like a pickle farm. when you are done do a rinse in baking soda and water.

Dremel device? I think someone did it for the YAN9VUSB project.
