Survey About the Value of Gym Class Answered

I am doing a sort of personal research paper (meaning, it's not a school assignment or anything) on the education system and gym class.  For the gym class portion, I am doing a survey, and so I have brought it here.  If you could answer these questions, I would greatly appreciate it.  Thank you very much!

1. What is your gender? (Optional)
2. Age? (Optional)
3. Do you view PE as a worthwhile class in middle and/or high school?
4. Why or why not?

Too many kids are overweight and have no clue on fitness and nutrition. Their parents are overweight and are dying young costing the Government money in disability and healthcare.

Well, I'm just curious, what would you think if a student, say, had depression, and gym really only exacerbated the situation?

That would be a call for the teacher in question, but exercise is known to alleviate clinical depression.

I have known several people over the years who suffered varying degrees of depression. In every case, their doctor included daily physical activity as part of the treatment regime, whether that was going out for a brisk stroll every morning, going to the gym, or just keeping the garden tidy.
