Swap Meat
I just ran across this thing:
http://www.coudal.com/swapmeat/
You send them something you made, and they send you something they made. I always have stuff I made that for various reasons I don't want to keep - it's not quite up to my tweaky-high quality standards, or I changed my mind about the color, or it doesn't fit and I don't feel like working on it any more.
Normally I would try this first and report my experiences, but since the deadline is Aug 31, I might not have time to ship and receive AND write up! So there it is, not a recommendation but a Mere link. I'll comment here once I've sent them something and again if I get anything back. I plan to send them a Tribble.
Has anyone heard of this? Did you send anything? Did you get anything back?

Dammit I missed the deadline, never sent them anything or got anything back. Sadness.

. Tribbles are cool. . So is your domain name. I could use a handful of round toits right now.

They're actually callling it Swap Meat (with the a) on the site, I think they couldn't come up with a better pun on Meet.
