Tips for exercising? Answered

Since I'm entering a new school for the 2010-2011 school year, ( which means 3 schools will combine into one) I thought I might lose weight. Me, a bit tubby at 92.5 pounds, (As of August 17, 2010) So I decided to run. Everyday, I do half a mile running, and half a mile walking. I started 3 days ago, and I've already seen improvement. I was 93.5 lbs after 1 run. After a bit of cool down, I do sit ups. I've got my MP3 player going (The Rocky Theme-ULTIMATE MOTIVATOR) as I run. Any tips? I don't do sports, and I try not to eat after 8:00. I've got running shoes and a appropriate outfit. I'd like to see what everybody can say to me.

Try running a bit more every time you go out.

See what athletic afterschool activities are available or meet some friends that are into a softball or basketball or or flag football or frisbee team, even bowling. It's more fun when you have others around. You don't have to join the real teams if you don't have the time or talent to commit. Pick up other cool activities like karate - martial arts, fencing, orienteering or rock climbing. As long as you keep moving, it's great. Good luck.
