Today a letter, tomorrow an article !
I recently got my Autumn issue of The 2600 magazine, and was reading through it while I was off. When I got to the Letters section, I half-heartedly scanned the letters and signatures, looking for a particular letter (but not really expecting to find it), and near the end of the section (beginning of the General Letters section) I found the emailed letter I had sent in (a suggestion concerning better handling of renewals).
I finally have been published in the 2600 ! When I have a little time, I may submit a small article next :-)
Below is the issue's cover, and here is a link to their on line site...

Very nice, although how does the cover depict hacking?

<input type="hidden" id="gwProxy"><!--Session data--></input>They have a habit of being very subtle with their covers. The last one had a telex office with postit notes and little signs etc. all over. <br /><br />It could be the fellow in the booth is tapping into her line and listening. <em>shrug</em><input type="hidden" id="jsProxy" onclick="jsCall();" /><div id="refHTML"> </div>

<input type="hidden" id="gwProxy"><!--Session data--></input> If so, one can probably get clues from his clothes, her's also AND the fact that she is smoking and the booth's apparent age. <input type="hidden" id="jsProxy" onclick="jsCall();" /><div id="refHTML"> </div>

Notice that the lady is smoking: another meaning of "hacking" is coughing. My friend explained to me this weekend that "coughing-up a bit of phelgm" shows that his body is functioning normally....

Congrats! The magazine looks quite interesting. What type of hacking does the magazine include (hardware, software, etc.)?

<input type="hidden" id="gwProxy"><!--Session data--></input>Mostly software, along with articles on hacking creed, The Telecom Informer, perspective, wireless, (the last issue, not the current one, had an article on why the entire No Fly scenario was an indecent fraud, etc. Hacking is not about what, but about being curious, and wishing to understand the world around you, and even your own self....<input type="hidden" id="jsProxy" onclick="jsCall();" /><div id="refHTML"> </div>

<input type="hidden" id="gwProxy"><!--Session data--></input>and THAT is only 4 issues a year. But, I find it very informative. If it is information that one can't use however, it is a bit of an expense. <input type="hidden" id="jsProxy" onclick="jsCall();" /><div id="refHTML"> </div>
