That too, gets out mid May. Should say got out, as I'm not there anymore. But the schedule hasn't changed. Think it might be so some of their summer isn't rainy season. Plus it's expensive to cool the schools in June here, which is probably more of a concern for the system than whether or not the kids get a good summer..

Oh. I once climbed out a window and jumped off a roof to get out of school early. Another time I jumped an embankment with my old hotrod to get out of school. (They had blocked off the student parking lot and I was trapped inside.) WHen my car landed in the teachers lot, I almost (accidentally) ran over the vice principal and about three other teachers. I got in a little trouble for that one.
