Trackers on vehicles? Answered

How can i go and play in my (trackered) company van, with out the boss knowing? I don't think blocking it (if that's possible) will do, because they will think there's a problem, and get it seen to.

If the answer is take it out, or part of it, and leave it at home, so they think the van is there, that would probably work, so, i look forward to your answers.

Oh yeah, and if you can think of a way they will pay for the fuel, while i'm out playing, i'm all ears LOL.

If they are that serious, they'll probably fire you if you get caught.
That said, How do they track you? Are they using GPS? If so, there is sure to be a GPS antenna mounted on the outside of the car. Disconnecting that antenna will eliminate the GPS signal.
Some of these systems are very sophisticated though. Some come on and record your approximate position using an electronic compass and the odometer with GPS for error correction. Some just use cell towers and only monitor your general vicinity.
Have you thought to ask them for permission to use the thing occasionally? They may say ok. Stranger things have happened and the only way to find out for sure is to ask.

Get yer own vehicle, or get permission. Seriously. Unless you really want to lose that job.
