Using Satellite dish or tv antenna as wi-fi antenna.
Is there way to use satellite dish or TV antenna from top of my building connecting it to computer, and use it as Wi-Fi antenna. On my wall I have a jack like this:

In which jack should i plug my cable(probably SAT) to connect it with network adapter. I know it sounds weird but I think its possible. What's your opinion?

I'm in building with 3 or 4 floors so i can't just mount wi-fi antenna and get it to my room, so thats falling off. But another suggestion, to mount up usb is also falling off because, me on the about 80 feet(25m) building, nahhh, I don't think so. Both suggestions are falling off. Is there something else I could try with that jack in the wall?

I forgot one type of antenna. There is also the Helical. For best results go with the Yagi. Or you can do what I did. I made mine where I can change my antenna type based on area and use.

You have to remove the LNB. There are three main ways for the antenna that will be aimed at the focus point. 1. usb adapter in a small cantena 2. Bi-Quad antenna 3. A four or five element Yagi antenna. The best result are with the Bi-Quad and Yagi. When done right you can get a connection from up to 1.4 miles away.

the socket itself (often has filtering inside) + cables (wrong impedance) + transmitter in the dish are all inappropriate for wifi signals instead you can try (it may or may not work) run usb cable up to the dish and install a usb wifi stick instead of the existing transmitter - using only the dish itself then you have to aim the dish to where the other side of the link is
