Van De Graff Generator? pipe? Answered

i am trying to make a van de graff genertor i have bought some drain pipe for around 2 quid,
i later realised that it is not PVC. it is made out of ABS. please can you tell me if it will work, and if it will be as good as PVC

Assuming you are referring to the tube separating the base and the dome, any insulating material should work.

If you are using the tube to make one of the rollers, it may not work, but I expect it will, so it is worth a try
