Oh, that's a tough one. I lived in Smithfield, VA as a kid. But we moved to NC. We'd visit Galax, VA and Blacksburg VA. That felt more like REAL Virginia! Richmond feels more like SOuth DC.

I'm not sure if he was going for the political reference quoted from McCain...I thought Virginia vs. West Virginia until I looked it up.

Yeah, we joke about the McCain reference a lot in "Fake" Va.
Smithfeild is pretty far south, but that's such a nice area.
