Water bath canning precooked fish...? Answered

I know it says in the article that you should not use the boiling water bath for fish, but what if the fish, sardines, in this case, was slow-cooked from 45mins to an hour, in olive oil with spices and then with added vinegar before placing them in the jars. Can I just use the boiling water bath method then?
