Buy what you need to do the job your currently working on.
balance the longevity of Pro tools with the cost, it's often to accept the shorter life of hobby quality tools as your not going to use them as much.
MANY heavier tools can be made.

YOU MUST BUY ONLY FESTOOL!
How are we supposed to know what you need?

Just remember to wear your safety glasses, because, you know, it is good to keep your eyeballs safe.

A functional Mind -- It's usually where everything starts. Any brand will do
That being said ---
Each project and job usually requires some specific jig or tool or cutter or abrasive. You get what you need for a specific project and just keep collecting as things progress. Most people go through a process of accumulation.

Where do you live?
I live in Canada and I buy Mastercraft with a no questions asked life time guarantee on everything but power tools from Canadian Tire. You just hand them the broken tool and the give you a replacement.
In fact I go to garage sales buy broken Mastercraft tools for next to nothing and return them to Canadian Tire for a new one.
With power tools you need the receipt of purchase, power tools have a limited warranty of one year, however as long as you have the receipt and it is under 1 year they replace the tool no questions asked, and that is on all makes of power tools.
But you need to live in Canada that is why I asked where you live.
