What font do you think in? Answered

For those of you can't figure out what yours is, try spelling the word "bicycle" out loud. A picture of the word will probably pop up in you head...what font was it? I'm Calibri

My font appears to be "bicycle", since that's what I saw in my head when I tried to spell the word.

I don't think in words, I think in pictures and shapes.

However

When I type text for others to read I tend to use Verdana, Tempus Sans or the Berlin family of fonts, unless I'm doing specifically-themed headlines or banners.

What is the required font for students over there in Britain? Here we use Times New Roman for all of our projects (12pt).

That's fairly usual here as well, although personally all I require is to be able to read it (making chiller in yellow a bit of a no-no), so things like ariel or even comic sans are fine.

Higher up, though, Times New Roman does seem to be a specified font (I've heard rumours of people failing assignments by using the wrong font).

Nope...it was a not so commonly used one that comes pre installed on your computer. I want to say it starts with an "m".. but nothing rang a bell when I looked at the M list.

Well i cannot say that I think in a particular font... However if it is anything like what I prefer to type in, it would have to be courier.

I don't really think "in words", and have to translate thoughts into words in order to put them down here (or anywhere); I think in pictures and visuals mostly...

I do like to type out in mono Corsiva but then you have to increase the size in order to read it....

I definitely don't think in text, much less a specific font.

Spelling is direct-access sound memory, since I did far too many spelling bees as a kid. I can spell much faster and more accurately without conscious thought.

Arial Narrow when I'm thinking, Dragon when I'm dreaming (no joke, most of my dreams are in Runescape, and the chat text is in Dragon).
