Don't see anything special except maybe the one in the last link. Looking into kcam and mach 3, but wish I could find something great for free. EMC2 looks great, but I have no computer that I can sacrifice to linux. I already have 4 computers I'm using. Thanks for replying though. I won't say you are best answer so as not to discourage other possible answerers.

Since this page is in the top 10 of the "freeware cnc software" search, Let me share what I found...
I made my first cuts using draftsight-- its free and 2.5 D which is good enough for now, and includes a graphic editor. It is FREE no trials, no striings attached. http://www.3ds.com/products/draftsight/free-cad-software/

free cea cnc at techknowwiz.com is realy free no strings attached runs in windows controll up to 4 axis its what i use
