What is the best way? Answered

I got a transformer with the next schematic and I want to build a power supply with max 30v and high amperage.
Can you help me with some scematics?

This is a wild guess.  To get 30 V from a 220-240 V wall socket, check the 230 V selection.  it appears that you would connect A and J to the wall socket, and letters a and h are the output.  I'm not sure what the "verb." entries are, unless they represent a center tap.  Anyone know?

If you want 30 V and have 110-120 V at the wall, you should be able to use the 230 V primary connection with the 60 V secondary.  Half the voltage in gives half the voltage out.

The downside is that the max current depends on the gauge of the transformer wire among other factors, and there is no easy way to determine how much current can be drawn unless you have the transformer specs.

Hope this helps!  Be safe!!

I have a wilder guess. The abbreviations Anschl. and verb. might be German.
