What kind of Instructable should I make?
One of my goals is to make and Instructable that will be put on the home page. However, I don't know what to do it about. Would someone mind helping me figure one out?
Also I don't know how to solder, nor do I have anything to use if I even wanted to solder anything.
I am clueless when it comes to resistors and things like that.
Thanks!

electonics is easier that. You think if youcjust spend one day reading about I'd. Maybe something that deals with rapid Provo typing? Those are always cool l

Then there's the problem of getting the electronics stuff. I think I have taken apart most of the old electronics that I can. I'm thinking of getting the little motor out of my old cell phone to do something with that. I have some LEDs though. I also have a small motor that I don't have anything to do with.

you should get into beam robotics. Its just really simple circuits and you build the robots out of salvaged components

Forget trying to be famous, and post an instructable on something you know about, that will be helpful to other people... (things like "how to play black jack" from people not old enough to be in a real casino aren't entirely useless, but I would have hoped for something more credible, for example.) Instructables should be for "school report" type things ("I read wikipedia and here's what they say about how to make a transistor amplifier"), it's for people to talk about things that they already know about. That's probably not as limiting as you might think; lots of people have particular (and interesting) talents, once they stop worrying about whether their talent will be "popular" or not. (What's that saying: "Dance like no one is watching!" ? Well, "Teach like everyone cares!")

That's exactly what I'm trying to do... I am trying to make an Instructable to be featured but I can't think of one.

You could make something like this.

That's perfect! But... I don't have that rumble motor.. I have a big one from a PS2 Controller.. But thanks for trying, I would so totally do that.

Yeah I want to make one but I dont have a motor like that either. You could make a neck massager with the big motor you have! That would be cool.

It's not that big.. it's about the size of a half dollar coin.

You could put it in a tennis ball.

Yeah but that would be kind of pointless, like my buzzing frog Instructable.

Well. Dou you have a cat?
Reply 13 years ago
Sometimes. I know what you're going to say.. the rumbler will be in the ball and then it will roll around for the cat..
