What power supply will I need for this instructable? Answered

I'm currently working on the instructable below and am having powers deciding what type of power supply I need to run it smoothly. I have found a number of LiPo boards and batteries, but all only run up to around 3.7V.

Please could someone recommend a website or shop within the UK where I may be able to purchase a suitable power source? I notice from the schematic on the following page that this may need to be at least 5V to be successful.

Kind regards,

Andrew.

An arduino should run on 3V, its technically a 3.3V part, but will tolerate 5. Just use a 3V coin cell.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for your reply. I've tried using 2 3V coin cell batteries wired in parallel but this doesn't appear to be enough power. By the look of the Instructable, it uses a LiPo Lilypad board to power it instead.

Thanks again for your help.

Andrew.
