What process would be best to make this mold??? Answered

New here so sorry if its in the wrong spot but I need to recreate the molding in this picture. Now it doesnt have a ton of detail so it should be fairly easy to make but I have no idea what to do. Can I vacuum form it and then use that piece to pour a mold. Can someone post some good links on what to do?

Its a urethane type molding and I think I found out what to do lol. It is from an 85 Mercury Capri (Mercury's Mustang) and theyre really hard to find so i'd like to make myself a set.

I'm guessing that you're replicating a hard-to-get badge for a car from the mid 1980s?

I would recommend one of these projects as a guideline: LINK.

what are you trying to cast? a plastic or metal part? just search for mold making or casting. good luck.
