What the heck!
Ok so i was going on meta cafe to look at the laser pointer video, and then something popped up saying meta cafe was an adult site and it was going to block it. But there was a choice and i said no but does anyone know why that happend?

yea that just happend to me right now and wen i clicked x on it it took me to this fake thing that tried to imitate my computer and it said i had 989 critical viruses want to delete them dont listin to this its fake

It's because it's a dangerous activity. Warning pages have sprung up all over, with screen shots of that particular video. They don't want kids to see this and try it, because they don't want to be responsible for eye being burnt.

Any possibility it was a spyware ad ? Do you have McAfee's Site adviser running, do you ? (it would show up as a small green [or yellow - warning or red - caution] bar in the tool bar area, or above the task bar somewhere). Hmm, probably not, as that is just an advisory program, normally doesn't pop up anything.

a PS: Checkpoint (ZoneAlarm) has a "built in, but not activated by default" parental control section. Many ISP's offer this too, for instance, Earthlink.

Yes,i think my dad installed a firewall but not internet security.(well to tell the truth I really don't know)

Well the likelihood is that it's Internet security/filtering software. I'm not aware of any browser that has this built in.
