What to do about an IRC bot? Answered

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I got an IRC bot on my comp and pendrive. I know IRC stands for Internet Relay Chat, and that it allows someone to acces my computer. Norton antivirus can't remove it, and I haven't tried with spyware doctor yet. Until I can conctact a friend of ours who can hoefully fix it, I'm open to suggestion. Also, another note. My previous comp, a desktop comp, had a virus. (I had written about this sometime ago) I had inserted Spyware doctor CD while it had that virus, then my comp started fainting (restarting randomly), and I was wondering if there was any chance the CD got damaged or infected? Last but not least, how do I remove the afore mentioned bot from my pendrive? I'm scared...

Well, first disconnect from the internet so that there is no way of them connecting.

YOU DIDN'T LISTEN. Disconnect. Now. then do a full virus/spyware scan. Then reconnect and google for the answer. until then, if your mouse acts weird or something, shut down.

CD didn't get infected. Your computer can't write to an already used program CD (in 99.99999 % of cases, anyway). Run a free scan from Norton's or trendmicro's website. They are reliable antivirus sites that will run a free scan of your computer on the web.
