Where can I get free PVC piping? Answered

I need 1/2" and 1" pvc piping for a halloween fence project I'm working on.  Where can I get some for free or atleast a price below $10.  I need something like 160 ft of fence.  Thanks

Everybody has leftover PVC used for construction
  Try asking :
  • A dog training school
  • A float maker
  • A high school physics dept
  • A political sign maker
  • A neighbor
  • A horse owner
 Go Ask ..................

You can get plenty of free PVC from active home construction sites. Just make sure you wear your running shoes that day.

Understood; you've had experience. I'm a disabled Vietnam veteran and no vehicle so I'm truly looking for anyone that would like to help and old man. I don't have money at present but do have a collection of antiques, a babe Ruth card, jewelry for women, a brand new size 14" cowboy boots, a Yankee jacket and fig trees.

Unfortunately 7 cents a foot is an unrealistic price. You can try contacting plumbing companies to see if they will give you their scrap and search craigslist to see if someone is trying to get rid of some leftovers. Once you've collected as much scrap as you can then you will have to pony up and buy the rest.

You might be able to get a few short, 2 to 3 foot long pieces from a plumbing or landscape irrigation contractor, but I wouldn't expect much.
Otherwise, try the usual places; Craig's list, eBay, local newspaper classified ads and so forth, but I doubt you will be able to get anywhere near the amount of pipe you need with a $10 budget.
