At a scrapyard you will be lucky to get $0.05 a pound but if you clean it you can get $1.oo a pound easy at a gun show. If you cast it into shot depending on the shot $10.oo a pound. 50, 357 wadcutter can get you $15.oo and that is about 1 pound.

Unfortunately they didn't say what form the led was in, it could be thousands of balancing weights for car tires to a single piece of led the keel of a sailboat, or just old led pipes. A boat keel would be a nightmare to melt, clean, and mold at home, but tire weights would be easy. When I could see I made my own bullets so I know there is a market for shot, cast bullets, and led at gun shows.

Bit hard in Antartica, same in Madagascar or Mallorca....
Iceland is quite restricted and Greenland does not do much with lead on a commercail base.
Russia, China, Korea and Taiwan might still need some though.
Better check the local lead prices first....

So you are saying soft lead is easier to sell than hard lead?
Never though of that, might need more investigation....
