Which is better?
Well i was just wondering which do you think is better ask.com or google.com i know google is more popular but which one is overall better? ask.com:pros: Can see screen shot of website. shows pictures of the search item on the side. shows blogs on side. gives you suggestions. I thinks thats it now for google. google.com:pros: Most browsers have a little bar at the top for searching. Most popular searching site. Can't think of anymore.. ask.com:cons: Not very popular All i can think of. google.com:cons:doesn't have all that stuff that ask.com has. That seams to wrap it up. What do you think is better? Also if you have any thing to add on the pros and cons list post them here.

i use google alot... i just always have. it works, so i dont really see a reason to change. i have used ask before though. in all honesty i didnt find that much difference between it and google, but i have not used it in a few years. i just find it easier to use google... its even my homepage. i also use "define:" quite a bit. i dont know if ask has it or not. my brother swears that yahoo is better, but i dont bother with it. ok, so i went back to ask.com and its pretty and all, but i still prefer the simplicity of google instead. ask just has too much on the sides, and it kind of bothers me. oh, and ask does have "define:"

Google, because it is so convenient to type it in my Google Toolbar. I also like Google, because most of the time, I get the answers I like. Ask...truthfully, never used it.

. I use Google almost exclusively, but that's just habit. I've gotten pretty good at using Google's operators to narrow my results. And I use define: a lot.
. I will occasionally use specialized search engines, but I use Google to find 'em. :)

To me, it is like asking which is better, the crescent wrench or a screwdriver. They both have their uses.

in fact, I have two different "bars", one with "ask.com" as default and the other "google" to make it easy to use either one. ;-)
