Why can't Instructables make a "shortage of resources" contest? Answered

Not so much is this the question above, as it is a request.
Throughout my life on instructables I have MAYBE seen one or two 'ibles that don't require massave amounts of experience and or resources. Neither of which I have much of. Nor do I have money to get resources. My real question is "what great 'ibles are there that don't require resources" although I would like the topic question to be answered also. Please help me out, my creative mind is exploding with Ideas, but I don't have much to work with.

I'm sorry, but LOOK harder!!! Come on, seriously?

Just a quick mental review of my own instructble, I have one that requires nothing but pennies, cardboard, lemon juice and sandpaper,  another that requires nothing but plywood zipties and a saw, one that uses nothing but a mailing label and one, which received national level attention, made from two soda bottles.

Snap.

Not one of my Instructables cost more than £10 to do (not counting tools, or the 20,000 pints of beer).

Agreed, then again my junk drawer tends to have every kind of something already there...

Then again, I managed to furnish most of my house for nothing...

They have run such contests, more than once.  There are hundreds of repurposing I'bles on the site.  Perhaps using the I'bles search interface for "green" or "re-use" or "recycle" or "simple" might clarify things for you.

For once I actually like someone's answer. this was really helpfull, and better than saying "my list of supplies is only worth 30$"

I think both answers were helpful. I.e., if you wanted to see a *whole bunch* of cheap projects, you could go to that member's page - either way, the existence of such low-cost projects proves that there are plenty of "great ibles that don't require resources" out there, if only you look for them.

Eh have a run through my published list, I don't think I've made anything with a large set of resources...
