Why do people hide their age?
I am 13 and I am not really bothered what people say about people our age. I think that the people who hide their age are generally not the right age to be viewing some 'ibles.
Thanks,

I generally agree, but remember that past the age at which kids attach meaning to age, age-importance is inversely proportional to the numeric value.
I.e. early-teens can be bothered enough about how young/old they are as compared to their peers. It's a bit of a giveaway but it's a layer of anonymity.

Hey. I was 13 almost 55 years ago. Redesign is correct, even though we older (more mature) ones have a lot of experience we are often dismissed as "out of touch". By the way, have I mentioned that I am a tutor and my subject matter is, Social Psychology. It's effect and legacy. Other generations venerated their "oldies" as wise because they had that very experience I spoke of. Later generations have pulled away from that because imformation is flooding in from all over and almost instantly. Good question.

A lot of people look at age and have a preconceived idea of intelligence.
Lots of people who are say 13 would not take "dating" advice from a 70 year old even if the advice was proper.
A lot of 70 year olds might not like taking advice from a 13 year old.
