Why doesn't my view count go up when my family views my instructable ? Answered

You are probably on the same account/device/ IP address which will make Instructables that YOU are viewing your own 'ible.

It's most likely because they're all using the same device.

1. It might be because it's from the same IP Address

2.The view counts are lagging for some reason

3. You are logged in to your account, Instructables doesn't count the times you view your 'Ible

It should be one of those :)

Maybe it only counts the views from people that have an account?

If it's counting IP addresses you could install the hola plugin for google chrome.
Also handy for watching videos that are not available in your country.
But that's quite a hassle for adding a few views.
