Will it blend?
This is crazy. This blender will blend everything! Every video, the guy "tests" out this blender by putting user-suggested items in it. Make sure you watch him blend the iPhone.
Will it Blend?
I have to say, that is one tough little ol' blender.

I remember the episode where they claimed they were going to blend rare-earth magnets even though they were clearly using ceramic magnets.

Yes Will It Blend is a good marketing technique. My favorite one was the episode where he put Glo-Sticks in the blender.

Wow! I've seen that blender at Costco, they do like info things, where they make ice cream, and soup and such...it costs around $400.

Ok, that's what gets me: It can blend a rake, but why? Who in their right mind is going to blend a rake? Or anything that they did. Plus, $400 dollars? Way out of my price range.

It just proves how tough they are =]
...It's an amazing blender, they put some rice in it, and it came out like flour, and it will heat up (soup) or cool down (ice cream). 400 is outrageous, but some people will use that to its fullest, I guess. Maybe just industrial kitchens? (Or chop shops, for that matter)

The $400 model is the "Home" edition (unless you want the "in-counter model" which is $800). They have industrial models too. Weiss is correct, they just want to prove that their blender is tough enough to stand up to just about anything. I was disappointed that they faked us out on the crowbar (probably cause it can't and/or too dangerous). Considering how much abuse the blender can take (flying fragments of metal), the price isn't that bad. In the end of "Video Camera Part 2 : The Return", I think one of the employees saw one of the hidden cameras.
