With 8.5 volt r/c battery, i want one 3 volt light. What size resistor do i use and from where to get it?
I tried hooking up the 8.5 volts direct of course it torched the light. I want to wire this light, or perhaps two of them to the 8.5, 3300 mAmp battery from the picture, this battery is about as long as a smart phone say if that even matters. Please someone can tell me, what resistor to use, where do i get it, and how do i hook it up? Thanks for help

Need more info on the light being used. What kind of light is it? You may have to use a voltage regulator to bring the voltage down to the 3V needed.
