You know how in the northern hemisphere toilets flush forward and in the southern they flush the oppposite way?
What would happen if you were in a plane and flew over the equator while flying. Would it like stop and turn around. My friend asked me this and now im curious

One can find both counterclockwise and clockwise flowing drains in both hemispheres. Some people would like you to believe that the Coriolis force affects the flow of water down the drain in sinks, bathtubs, or toilet bowls. Don’t believe them! The Coriolis force is simply too weak to affect such small bodies of water. It just depends upon how the water was introduced and the geometric structure of the drain. The Coriolis Effect only comes into play with massive systems like hurricanes and atmospheric wind circulation.
