anyway to mold acrylic at home? Answered

from online research i see that you need pressure to keep air bubbles out. it would seem pretty easy to build a pressure vessel and heat it up. i was just looking at the acrylic toilet seats on ebay and some sell for over $200. anyone ever attempted this? anyone know where to get the materials?

I have a artist friend that makes his living pouring acrylic sculptures. He does not use pressure but he has told me that it took him many tries to perfect his methods and it is mainly mixing the acrylic very carefully and pouring extremely carefully.

I've seen his work and it is perfectly bubble free and small (36" tall ) sells for $15,000 and up because of the shape and the clarity.
